New titles: How Sex Got Screwed Up (Book One and Book Two)

History has a lot to answer for when it comes to sex. Laying bare the historical discourses that continue to define our attitudes to sex and gender, Knowles expertly weaves together a fascinating and informative account of sex from the Stone Age to the 21st century. In the year that saw Australia’s first gay couples wed and the #MeToo movement sweep across the globe, this is a timely and provocative contribution to the field of sexology and historical studies, in general. We invite you to dive head first into the extraordinary journey of ‘how sex got screwed up’.
